Movin' forward

Last week I met with Michael Roy to go over how this mammoth mosaic is going to be hung on our cafeteria wall.  I was also concerned by the buckling that does not seem to subside in some of the panels.  After our meeting, the weight of the world was lifted from my shoulders.   Michael shared his plan on how we will mount a steel track on the wall and he will set up a meeting soon with Rockport Steel to go over plans and schedule a site visit.   THANK YOU MICHAEL!    Oh, and the buckling?   The weight of the tiles might cure it or a simple c-clamp might do the trick but, just in case,  Michael is creating a "simple"  aluminum frame to mount on the back to straighten everything.   Do you see why I felt so relieved after this meeting?

Last week we also finished the blue outlines of the trees!    Everyone is working on the green interior and sights have been set to work on grassy area, beach and dare I say...clouds?
